With one location in Roger's Park and a second one in the Time Out Market in the West Loop, Candlelite is known for its tavern-style thin crust pizza. Their 2-day dough is hand-stretched to form a cracker-thin crust that's dusted with cornmeal and topped with homemade sauce and a house blend of mozzarella and romano.
Owner Pat Fowler began exploring frozen pizza in 2020, as part of a commitment to keeping his staff employed through the pandemic. What came next is a thin-crust masterpiece that captures all the qualities you'd find if you ordered off the menu at either of his two locations.
